Funcation and Objective
Under the DM Act 2005, it is mandatory on the part of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to adopt a continuous and integrated process of planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing measures which are necessary and expedient for prevention as well as mitigation of disasters.
Take all measures for the purpose of Disaster Management in the district in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the National Authority and State Authority.
