One Nation One Ration Card
The U.T Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu entered in cluster 1 of with 20 States for One Nation One Ration card and launched it w.e.f from 1st March, 2020, this U.T is the 1st U.T to launch the “One Nation One Ration Card”.
Under the scheme of integrated management of Public Distribution (IM-PDS) has started the implementation of nationwide portability of NFSA ration card holders through the “One Nation One Ration Card” plan which enable the Migratory NFSA beneficiaries to lift their entitlement foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) of their choice in the country by using their existing/same ration cards issued in their home State/UT, after going through biometric/Aadhaar authentication on ePoS device installed at the FPS. The distribution under “One Nation One Ration Card” has initiate w.e.f from July, 2020.
Awareness program was done by the U.T Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Food and Civil Supply Department, Banners in Hindi & Gujarati language were given to all Fair Price Shops (FPS) for wide awareness in concern FPS level. Pamplets were distributed in all chawls for wide publicity nationwide portability of NFSA ration. Awareness/Coverage was also given in Print and Electronic media for nationwide portability of NFSA ration card holders through the “One Nation One Ration Card” plan which enable the Migratory NFSA beneficiaries to lift their entitlement foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS).
National Toll free number also activated 1967 and 14445 for any help related to national portability.

How To Apply
1. The One Nation One Ration Card allows all the NFSA beneficiaries/ration cardholders, particularly the migrant NFSA beneficiaries/ration cardholders, for claiming either whole or part of the foodgrains from any FPS situated anywhere in the country through an existing ration card with biometric or Aadhaar authentication.
2. This system allows all NFSA beneficiaries, particularly migrant beneficiaries, to claim either full or part foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) in the country through existing ration card with biometric/Aadhaar authentication in a seamless manner. The system also allows their family members back home, if any, to claim the balance foodgrains on same the ration card.
3. Beneficiaries have active Ration Card from any state of India.
